Children's Chef
We are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate person to job share with our current chef, cooking meals two days per week for the children and babies at our lovely nursery which is a fun working environment!
We are ideally looking for someone who:
- is passionate about healthy eating
- has an interest in children's nutrition
- has knowledge of allergens and alternative diets
- is able to stock check, purchase and manage their time well
- has knowledge of and experience in applying the Safer Food, Better Business scheme
- has had up-to-date food hygiene training
- is interested in and knows how to grow food and would feel confident doing this with the children
- is confident to teach the children cooking basics in a weekly 'cooking club'
Approx 27.5-30hrs per week - hourly rate based on skills and experience
