Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kiln Operator/Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the operation of industrial kilns used for firing and processing materials, ensuring smooth production flow and maintaining high-quality standards. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to efficient operations, safety, and product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of Saggars.
- Maintain accurate logs of kiln operation parameters, maintenance activities, and production data for quality assurance
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear and adhering to operational guidelines to prevent accidents
- Support warehouse activities such as material handling, storage organization, and inventory management related to kiln supplies
Skills
- Experience with assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling procedures
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good communication skills for reporting issues, recording data, and collaborating with team members
