Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily operations within our bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and service quality. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or bar management is highly desirable, along with a background in culinary arts or food production.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all culinary standards are met, including cooking and food presentation.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and maintain inventory control to minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the bar.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, including serving drinks and assisting guests with menu choices.
- Train new team members in service procedures, food safety protocols, and operational standards.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Organise staff rotas, monitor performance, and motivate team members to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production processes to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and guest loyalty.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Experience in managing teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
- Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, bartending, and customer service excellence.
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous; barista experience is also beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment.

Pay: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
