Impressions Care Solutions is seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive Female Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting female individuals with high-functioning autism in the Verwood area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives by promoting independence, wellbeing, and community engagement through person-centered support.
The individuals we support enjoy a variety of hobbies and community activities, including occasional visits involving animals. You do not need previous experience with animal care; however, you should be comfortable accompanying and supporting individuals during these activities when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centered support tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Promoting independence, choice, and control in daily living.
- Supporting access to community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
- Assisting with developing life skills and maintaining routines.
- Supporting individuals to engage with their hobbies and interests, including animal-related activities, arts & crafts, countryside walks etc.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Female applicants only
- To ensure consistent, high quality support for the individual we support, team members work 12 hour shifts as part of a planned rota.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
- Previous experience supporting individuals with autism.
- Experience within supported living, social care, or community-based support.
- Understanding of person-centred approaches and positive behaviour support.

Pay: £13.50-£14.30 per hour
