About Us
CMF Ltd is a well-established specialist steel and metal fabrication company working across construction, architectural metalwork and bespoke fabrication projects throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth and expansion at our new Basingstoke facility, we are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our workshop team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication and welding of a wide range of projects using:
- Mild Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminium
Processes will include:
- MIG Welding
- TIG Welding
- Fabrication from engineering drawings
- Assembly and finishing work
- Workshop-based manufacturing
Requirements
Applicants should ideally have:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within architectural or structural metalwork preferred
Desirable
- Coding qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Forklift or overhead crane experience beneficial
- Workshop fabrication background
