Contracts Coordinator (Construction)Nationwide Safety Ltd – Wantage
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Coordinator, working closely with our Contracts, Sales and Accounts teams to play a Multi Disciplined role contributing to organising, planning and running operations across contracts throughout the UK, liaising directly with our on-site Teams, our Client’s & our core Suppliers.
You will be joining the business at an exciting time. Nationwide Safety Ltd is an established leading contractor specialised with installing Safe methods of Working a Height for the New & Refurbishment Roofing markets for Commercial, Industrial and Public contracts. The company has built an excellent reputation in the industry for quality of work, reliability and compliance and was awarded the Excellence of Work award by FASET in 2024 & 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with our Contracts Manager and on site teams to organise and support our Contracting works
- Deliver excellent customer service, dealing with customers and suppliers professionally and efficiently
- Organise and support the Contracting teams to deliver our services on projects to a high standard, in time and on budget
- Ordering hired in Plant, negotiating costs and service that develop strong supplier relationships
- Support our site crews with travel and accommodation arrangements
- Manage and organise Accreditation renewals to ensure continued compliance.
- Support and maintain our Training programmes and the roll out of improvement initiatives
- Responsible for the administration and monitoring of contract progress
- Organise and monitor scaffold and safety nets to and from site
About You:
- Ability to multi-task, be highly organised and have good attention to detail with accuracy.
- Be self-motivated and able t work both on their own initiative and within a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential for this role.
- Excellent organisational & interpersonal skill
- Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for decisions when required
- Professional image and manner to represent the company at all times
- Some experience within Construction or Facilities Management market would be desirable.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and be used to meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate an ability to recognise confidential and commercially sensitive information and disseminate appropriately
- Experience of managing site teams and enjoy the challenge of fluctuating demands
