Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering gas cylinders to our customers’ locations, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van or delivery vehicle to transport gas cylinders to residential and business customers
- Load and unload cylinders, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling with proper safety techniques
- Verify delivery addresses, customer details, and delivery instructions before each trip
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, procedures, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries to ensure a secure operation
Experience
- ADR Licence is a must with class 2 (gasses) entitlement
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or van driver is highly preferred
- Experience in commercial driving or operating heavy vehicles is advantageous
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools is beneficial

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
