We're looking for a Tendering Assistant/Trainee to join our team, supporting the delivery of accurate, competitive tenders across our high voltage (HV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), and renewables projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an eye for detail who wants to develop their skills in electrical tendering within a fast-moving, future-focused sector.

What we do
We are a full turnkey Commercial and industrial HV/LV Design and Installation company with a portfolio of 700+customers many who have been with us from the beginning, most of our business is from repeat or word of mouth. We have also diversified into battery storage (BESS) and EV commercial installation providing recognised training for our Engineers.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the preparation of tenders, pricing documents, and customer-facing quotations
- Translating electrical designs into clear, accurate commercial proposals
- Working with CAD software and design tools (including Amtech) to support estimating and takeoffs
- Collaborating with engineers and project teams to gather technical information
- Using AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in the tendering process
- Maintaining tender records and ensuring documentation is organised and up to date
- Project Handover to installation team
- Participation in project meetings
What we're looking for
- Some experience or exposure to electrical tendering, estimating, or design (HV/renewables experience a plus)
- Familiarity with CAD and Amtech software
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Confidence using AI tools in a professional environment
- Clear communication skills — written and verbal
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role
Nice to have
- Background in electrical engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working on BESS, solar, or grid connection projects
- Understanding of procurement and commercial processes
