Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker/Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and specifications
- Assist in the development of new pastry ideas and menu items
- Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace at all times
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of baked goods for service periods
- Follow portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in product quality
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as required within the kitchen
