Nursery Apprentice required, ideal role for someone looking for a career in childcare, we will train you to become qualified in childcare, so we would like applicants who would view this as a long term role, must be able to work full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday with some 7.30am starts. You must have a genuine passion and love for being around young children and be happy to complete training and follow mentoring provided. We especially welcome school leavers and college leavers who have some sort of experience in childcare , for insurance purposes you must be over 17 or over to start this role.
Nursery Assistant Requirements:
- Some type of recent UK experience looking after children.
- You genuinely enjoy being around children and are confident in interacting with them
- Can work well in a team, punctual and reliable.
- Can get to Cookham, Berkshire easily - short walk from Cookham station or free parking nearby
- Keen in working with children as a long term career and happy to do training to become qualified.
- 17 years old or over to start for insurance purposes.
Nursery Apprentice Duties:
- Help supervise children, ensure they are safe and happy
- Support the qualified staff and cover them when needed
- Get involved in activities with the children, including messy play.
- Set up rooms for activities and tidy up afterwards
- Help serve lunch/food and tidying up after
- Complete training to become qualified and eventually have your own key children that you will be responsible for.

Pay: £16,400.00 per year
