Our Pub is a friendly, community-focused village pub in Denton, East Sussex. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to help deliver exceptional service in a busy pub environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Serve food efficiently to tables.
- Operate the SumUp POS system and process cash and card payments.
- Open and close customer tabs.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the pub.
- Restock the bar and prepare for service.
- Assist during live sports, entertainment and special events.
- Follow licensing laws, food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Friendly, positive and professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a pub, bar, restaurant or café.
- Experience using SumUp POS or a similar EPOS system.
- Knowledge of cellar or bar operations.
