Oakhouse foods are a local business delivering frozen meals and groceries to predominantly elderly customers throughout Essex and parts of London. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working individual to join our small team. As in any small business, flexibility is key.
We are looking for someone to work in our warehouse, picking and packing orders ready for delivery the following day.
This job role is a temporary part time position with the possibility of a permanent position being offered at the end of the contract.
We will require you to work 20 hours per week, worked in 4 hour shifts on a rota basis. Shifts will be scheduled between 9:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, according to the needs of the business. You will be given reasonable notice of your rota.
We do work all bank holidays excluding Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Key responsibilities:
- Picking items and fulfilling orders accurately.
- Performing general administrative tasks.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Refilling stock into the warehouse ensuring stock is rotated.

Due to our rural location, you must be able to get to site. There is very limited public transport in our area.
