You will have 3 National 4s, or equivalent, including English and Maths or equivalent.
You will work on a shift rota basis to provide an overall support service, on a relief basis, to the residents of the Lily Walker Centre and Honeygreen Supervised unit. Assist in the preparation of temporary accommodation and assist in the provision of an efficient clerical and reception service.
You will have an experience of working with homeless clients or who require additional support. You will have good communication skills, verbal and written and be empathetic/sympathetic. You will have IT skills. You will have ability to work alone and unsupervised. You will be able to work shifts (including weekends and sleepovers) and be able to work at short notice. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
