1. About the Role
Road to Success (R2S) is looking for a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team, working alongside our vocational tutors to support the emotional, social, and academic development of our students. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who understands behaviour as a form of communication and is confident managing challenging situations with patience and care.

3. Principal Roles and Responsibilities
- Be confident to manage challenging behaviour.
- Understand behaviour as a form of communication.
- Be a committed team player, working closely alongside the vocational tutors to support delivery of their sessions.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, reporting any concerns to the Safeguarding Lead.
- Work with the vocational tutors to support learning of students.
- Support tutors with planning and delivering teaching and learning sessions, including preparing resources and setting up the environment ready for sessions.
- Provide reports on the progress of your student(s) to tutors and the Centre Manager as and when required.
- Prioritise daily record keeping detailing support needs and progression.
- Record student progress and understand the support needs of your allocated students.
- Develop knowledge of the needs of the learners in class.
- Provide regular feedback to tutors, the Centre Manager, about your students' difficulties and progress.
