GDS Travel is looking for a reliable and experienced PSV/Coach/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in maintaining vehicles to a high standard and helping keep our fleet safe, compliant, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on coaches and related vehicles.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and complete repairs efficiently.
· Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections.
· Complete maintenance records and job sheets accurately.
· Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety, compliance, and company standards.
· Work as part of a team to keep vehicles available and roadworthy.
About You
· Previous experience working as a coach, PSV, HGV, LGV, or commercial vehicle mechanic is preferred.
· Relevant mechanical qualifications are desirable.
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
· Good attention to detail and a safety-first approach.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Full UK driving licence preferred; PCV licence would be an advantage.
Pay: £35,754.42-£50,885.96 per year
