This is an exciting opportunity to take real ownership of the financial management for one of the VH Group’s entities. You will lead on management accounting for a busy warehousing business based at Henstridge Airfield, with more than 20,000 pallet spaces, while supporting the Head of Finance with statutory reporting and external planning work.
You will play a key part in maintaining our culture of best practice, ensuring the group remains up to date, accurate and compliant with FRS/IFRS requirements, alongside wider external obligations including VAT, tax and duty.
We are looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You will be confident getting involved in higher-level finance projects, but equally willing to roll up your sleeves, support the wider finance team and provide cover for the Head of Finance when needed to keep the department running smoothly.
In a fast-moving business group, flexibility is essential. You will need to be adaptable, able to re-prioritise confidently and ready to respond as business needs change. In return, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of work, the chance to think creatively, see the bigger picture and make a genuine impact within a long-established, well-respected group with a strong family feel.
