Salary (Actual Salary): £19,285 - £19,591 (FTE £25,583-£25,989)
Working Pattern: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only + 5 days

Join us as a Teaching Assistant, working directly with teachers to implement tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups. This varied role spans classroom support, intervention management (including for SEND and EAL students), and helping to develop individualized student support plans.

Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas. Our recent Ofsted Inspection recognised the many strengths of the school as we secured judgements of Good across all areas. About the Role:
The role of Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
You will work in close collaboration with our Teaching body to deliver the current curriculum to students and ensure all students are engaging with their education, in this role you will be expected to support with the management of behaviour within the classroom, as well as work in a variety of whole class exercises, as well as on a one to one basis and in small focus groups.
