Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Some manual handling maybe required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.
- Operate forklifts safely when required, following all operational protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential, VNA licence is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Own transport to get to Buxton
- Happy to work 06:00 - 14:00 shift
