Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service periods
- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and report shortages or issues
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Train junior staff members as required to uphold quality standards
- Serve dishes to customers when necessary, providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
