Here at Charisma, we’re shaping the future of interactive entertainment, where players can have conversations with NPCs using the latest GPT and NLP technologies.

We’re searching for a Lead Game Developer to add to our growing team, who can bring their strong technical experience in Unreal Engine, and with an understanding of Unity as a bonus, to build unique games and experiences.

This is an exciting time to join our well-established gaming studio, as we embark on a new project for an innovative, future tech initiative. To give you some flavour, our previous and current partners include the likes of Warner Bros, Sky, NBC Universal and numerous games studios around the world.

Your quest might include...

Leading the end-to-end game development for an innovative Unity3D game build

Developing efficient workflows and production processes for successful delivery to deadlines

Delivering clear, informative and engaging updates to relevant stakeholders (from time to time it may be necessary to be a part of partner discussions)

Leading and nurturing a team of game developers and driving motivation towards a common goal

We’d love you to...

Have strong technical experience of Unity and C# development

Have an eye for creative thinking and problem solving - you’re able to bring together broader technical skills

Have experience of people management or leading a team in any capacity (direct/indirect)

Be confident in leading and taking accountability over the end-to-end game development cycle, at times with minimal supervision

Experienced in building and animating 3D characters and worlds

Find fun new ways to showcase how AI can support creativity

Equally passionate about digital humans, the metaverse, and conversational tech
