A welcoming primary school in North West London is seeking six SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team this September.
The school has a variety of opportunities available across their SEND support provision. Roles may include working within a specialist Autism provision, providing dedicated 1:1 support or supporting pupils within mainstream classrooms.
Pupils may present with a range of needs including Autism, communication differences, sensory processing needs and emotional regulation challenges. Some pupils are non-verbal and require personalised support to help them access learning and achieve positive outcomes.
About the Role
- Support pupils with SEND across the school
- Opportunities available within a specialist Autism provision, mainstream classrooms and dedicated 1:1 support roles
- Support communication, engagement and emotional regulation
- Help pupils access learning and develop confidence
- Work closely with teachers and SEND staff
About You
- Experience supporting children or young people preferred
- Personal SEND experience welcomed
- Understanding of Autism and sensory needs beneficial
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about helping children succeed
