Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Singing Tutor / Musical Theatre Tutor to inspire and develop the vocal talents of students across a range of ages and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging 1-1 singing lessons and musical theatre coaching that foster confidence, creativity, and technical mastery.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver personalized singing lessons tailored to each student’s age, experience, and learning goals
- Teach vocal techniques, breathing exercises, diction, pitch control, and stage presence with clarity and enthusiasm
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or LAMDA examinations by developing repertoire and performance skills
- Create a supportive environment that encourages confidence, self-expression, and musical exploration
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational needs or learning differences
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance quality
- Maintain lesson plans, progress records, and communicate regularly with students and parents about achievements and areas for growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching singing or musical theatre to ages 6-18
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Experience working with children or young learners in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with unique learning needs
- Passion for music education, musical theatre, and fostering artistic development
- Ability to create fun, inspiring lessons that build confidence while developing technical skills
- Relevant certifications or training in vocal coaching, music education, or related fields are a plus

Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
