Overview
Our continual growth means that we are constantly growing our team. As a result we are looking for an additional person for our distribution warehouse just off junction 31 of the M62.
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, full training will be provided on our products and systems. A strong work ethic, physical fitness, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Handling materials including picking, packing, stocking, and organising goods within the warehouse
- Loading and offloading vehicles
- FLT operation
- Inventory management - Utilising warehouse management systems
- Applying good housekeeping and Health and Safety awareness to all tasks
- Assisting with stock organisation and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
- following instruction with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
- FLT experience
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in stock control and quality assurance
We offer a great work environment with our friendly team. 22 days holiday (plus stats) and a generous hourly rate with overtime at a premium.
hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekend working (Saturdays)
Pay: £13.53 per hour
