We are looking for a kind and dependable Night Care Assistant to join our team and help ensure our residents feel safe, comfortable, and reassured during the night. If you are someone who is naturally caring, attentive, and enjoys making a difference, we would love to welcome you.
This is a full-time, flexible role, working night shifts on a rota basis, including weekends - 36 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
While the home is quieter at night, your role is just as important:
- Carrying out regular night checks to ensure residents are safe and comfortable
- Supporting residents with personal care needs during the night
- Assisting with repositioning and mobility where required
- Offering reassurance and comfort to residents who may feel anxious or unsettled
- Keeping clear and accurate records and reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Helping maintain a calm, clean, and peaceful environment
What We’re Looking For
- A kind, patient, and caring nature
- Good communication skills in English
- Someone reliable who can work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
