Maintenance & Ground Works Operative
- Must live within 15 miles of HX2 6HU (Halifax)

Calder Construction & Shop Fitting Ltd are a construction and maintenance company specialising in provision of new build, repair and shop fit works for a major national retailer. We are a friendly and forward-thinking organisation with busy work schedule for the foreseeable future. We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance & Ground Works Operative to compliment our existing teams carrying out maintenance works in a predominantly retail environment. If you feel you have the following skills/experience, we would love to hear from you;
- Ground Works experience required e.g. fitting and repairing ACO Drains, tarmac patching, wall repairs, kerb stone installations/repairs, bollard installations/repairs
- Reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Willingness to travel to sites across the M62 corridor and North Wales (in Company vehicles - occasional stop-over)
- CSCS Card (desirable)
- Full, clean driving licence preferred
Much of the work is along the M62 corridor but there will be times when staying away is required and this could be anywhere in the UK. Overnight allowances will be payable and working away bonuses will be provided when timescales are hit and standards of work are high.
We are based near Halifax and therefore we are looking for people who live no more than a 15 miles radius away from there.
