A position is now open for a Treatment Co-ordinator/Receptionist to join our friendly and high performing orthodontic team in our Petersfield practice.
This is not just a reception role. As a key member of our front-of-house and treatment coordination team, you will guide patients through their treatment journey and help convert enquiries into treatment starts. Experience working in sales would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is efficient, kind, reliable, and has a high sense of responsibility. Because of the patient interaction, they should have excellent communication skills and show discretion. They should also be comfortable using computers and new technology to help us deliver a superior patient journey and experience. Touch typing skills would be an advantage.
The hours are: Mondays 8.45 - 18.15, Tuesdays 8.15 - 17.45, Wednesdays - 8.15 - 17.45, Thursdays 8.15 -17.45 and Fridays 9.45 - 16.15.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answering the telephone, emails, amending appointments and helping patients with enquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Handling payments and setting up patient finance
- Updating patient records
- Making patients aware of practice services
- Carrying out general administrative duties to ensure the effective running of the practice, supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team
- Clearly explain treatment options to patients
- Support new and existing patients with treatment queries
Both external and in-house training will be provided as required with potential for career progression.
