Duties
- Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches, salads, cold cuts, and hot foods with precision and creativity
- Follow recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure consistent quality and hygiene standards
- Cook and assemble meals efficiently during peak hours to meet customer demand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and workstations
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and ordering of supplies needed
- Serve customers promptly with friendly, professional service while answering questions about menu items
- Support team members in meal preparation and other kitchen duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or deli setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members
