Responsible to: Maintenance and Facilities Manager
Collaborate with: Site Manager EcoCentre, Project Engineer- Industrial Services, QHSE Manager, General Manager
Job Summary:
To work on own initiative, to ensure that each job/project is completed to a satisfactory standard and within set deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture.
· To refurbish and repair company owned and 3rd party equipment as per Quality Assurance procedures.
· To fabricate and maintain equipment to company and / or customer requirements.
· To assist Maintenance and Facilities Manager, keep log of all manufactured equipment and associated assets, upgrades and repair data on all Augean sites.
· To maintain all associated Fab Shop equipment and complete pre use equipment paperwork.
· Complete all company competency to the best of your ability.
· Review all work instructions and risk assessments on a job by job basis.
· To maintain a good stock of Welding consumables and steel.
· Assist with budgetary costs for service and repair of company owned and 3rd party equipment.
· To keep workshop and yard clean and tidy, maintain and implement safe working practices throughout at all times.
· Carry out installation of cuttings containment equipment offshore as per Rig surveys.
· To provide breakdown assistance onshore and offshore for Augean rental equipment/ assets and or maintenance as and when required.
· Undertaking specific tasks as per business requirements.
· Maintaining continuous professional development.
· Any other reasonable duties as and when required.
Critical Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and Experience:
· A good command of the English language (written and oral).
· Good computer skills
· Time served Welder
· 5 years’ experience within a similar environment.
· Full UK Driving Licence
Summary Performance Measures
· Equipment to be fabricated as per Welding procedures
· Fab Shop housekeeping to be maintained to a high standard, along with equipment maintained to a good working order.
· Fab Shop steel and consumable stock to be maintained to a workable level
