Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Joiner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and construction, with proven expertise in joinery techniques. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and assembly of various structures, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes and maintaining safety standards. You will contribute to both residential and commercial projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Duties
- Fabricate and assemble stud, frames, doors, windows, and warm roofs
- Use power and hand tools safely and effectively to achieve precise cuts and fittings
- Work alongside carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
- Carry out masonry work when required
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling during construction
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Assist with roofing installation tasks where necessary
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years’ joinery experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year carpentry experience (required)
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of joinery techniques and building regulations
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Knowledge of electrical installations (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to problem-solve and work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving licence (beneficial for site travel)
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
- Weekend availability when required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £120.00-£200.00 per day
