Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Newbury and surrounding areas
Salary: £21 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate

About the Company
My client is a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance organisation are actively seeking to employ an experienced Mobile HGV Technician working on HGV’s and trailers, to covering Newbury and the M4 corridor.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of a team of experienced HGV Technicians, you will work on a variety of commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting vehicle inspections
- Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
- Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
- Undertaking general HGV Technician duties
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
- Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
