Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking wines, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware quickly and accurately to keep the bar fully stocked during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste promptly.
- Occasional support drink preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or pouring a pint.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent service support to enhance their experience.
- Over time you will be trained on-site to eventually become a fully trained cocktail bar person. With a knowledge of wine.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or cafes is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests.
- A willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
Pay: £10.85 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
