About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping pupils to remain engaged with their learning
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion
- Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
- Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents
Assignments are available across primary schools, secondary schools and special educational needs (SEN) settings.
