Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling hospitality environment. The role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and food preparation to contribute to the smooth running of our kitchen. 5-7 days a week, 25-28h a week. Temporary Contract until September.
Duties
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen according to operational standards
- Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as required
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and basic food hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help colleagues
- Excellent organisational abilities to maintain an orderly kitchen
