Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable , conscientious person to join our small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the workshop technician in repairing, and servicing a variety of brands including Royal Enfield , Voge, Benelli etc. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a person with a passion for motorcycles, a good mechanical aptitude and a passion for quality and service to develope their career within a family business.. The assistant will work closely with team members to ensure optimal operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist technician carrying out servicing and repairs and keeping the workshop running smoothly.
- Preparing parts ready for menu servicing and general repairs ensuring work sheets are updated with parts used and labour times.
- Preparation for motorcycles prior to technician undertaking repairs.
- Booking in workshop jobs upon customer arrival, tagging keys and photography of the bike prior to entering the workshop.
- Be competent to carry out assistive tasks such as removal and replacement of panels, removal of wheels,tyre fitting, changing bulbs, fitting chain and sprockets, changing disc pads etc under technician supervision.
- Keep workshop clean and tidy, cleaning tools, emptying bins, sweeping up maintaining a safe tidy working environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- A mechanical apptitude with a willingness to learn to high standards.
- Reliable with a dedicated work ethic and a passion for motorcycles.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Valid UK driving licence plus A class motorcycle licence preferred.

Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
