Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces, following established protocols.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained regularly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a tidy storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is organized and accessible.
- Complete cleaning checklists and logs accurately to document completed tasks and ensure accountability.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor polishers, and steam cleaners safely.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
