Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Provide personalised patient care, including explaining procedures and post-treatment advice
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient correspondence
- Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to facilitate efficient clinic operations
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare environment is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and dental procedures
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practices, including record management software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail
