We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our professional dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar build-up
- Conduct oral health assessments and record findings accurately in patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalised care routines
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain sterilisation of dental instruments and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions with patients
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dental hygiene techniques and technology, including CAD systems and medical imaging tools
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral structures and dental tissues
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing or planning dental restorations (nice-to-have)
- Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, such as digital X-rays or 3D imaging systems (preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilisation procedures
- Compassionate communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
