Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable handling up to 25kg A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record are essential for this position.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to complete multiple deliveries throughout the designated area
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid UK driver’s licence, with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, with physical strength and stamina
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Organised, punctual, and capable of managing multiple deliveries efficiently
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools is preferred
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to safety standards at all times
Pay: £12.71-£13.91 per hour
