Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised House Manager to oversee the smooth operation of a private residence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing household staff, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring the home runs efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate household staff including cleaners, cooks, gardeners, and chauffeurs to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Manage household schedules, appointments, and events, ensuring seamless organisation of daily routines.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of the property, liaising with contractors and service providers as necessary.
- Monitor household supplies and manage inventory levels; organise procurement of goods and services.
- Assist with planning and executing special events or gatherings held at the residence.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding household matters and personal information.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to within the property.
- Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, payroll for staff, and record keeping related to household operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within private households or luxury estates.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing diverse teams of staff.
