Summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join our committed KS1 team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils' learning and development within our caring and inclusive Catholic school community.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Key aspect of the role will be supporting the delivery of phonics, working with individuals and small groups, working with SEND children and helping pupils to make excellent progress across the curriculum. You will also assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, preparing learning activities, and creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive and passionate about helping every child to thrive. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing children's emotional wellbeing, developing their resilience and confidence, and building positive relationships that enable all pupils to achieve their full potential.
The role includes supporting the core school day, together with additional responsibilities such as supervising pupils during break and lunchtime.
