We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Operative who can support the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across various sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Role Responsibilities:· Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks.
· Carry out electrical testing, fault-finding, repairs and maintenance activities, updating work orders accurately.
· Use electrical test equipment and tools safely and effectively, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
· Follow all health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout processes, ensuring no live working takes place.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
· Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations.
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant equipment and control systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and maintenance procedures.
· Self-motivated, organised and committed to continuous learning and development.
· Professional, respectful and confident in identifying and raising health and safety concerns.
