Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Loading Shovel Driver to join our operational team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating loading shovels to efficiently move materials within our site, supporting the smooth flow of operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with excavators, and a commitment to safety and precision. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are prioritized.
Pay Rate - £21.00 p/h
you can work up to 11 hours per day on this site.
Responsibilities
- Operate loading shovels and excavators safely and effectively to load, unload, and transport materials
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site preparation by moving bulk materials such as gravel, soil, or aggregates
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling activities
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and equipment usage
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime
Qualifications
- CSCS or NPORS or CPCS
- Driving license
