The Cumberland Bar is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part Time Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and organise orders accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age is met
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist with organising events or special promotions when required
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer satisfaction
