Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to cover maternity leave within our manufacturing team.
XL Engineering provide over 40,000 parts to our customers monthly. The role is to ensure that the parts that are due to be dispatched each day are delivered to dispatch by checking the schedules and job cards and ensuring the team are delivering the parts required for that day.
You need to be a quick learner of the inhouse ERP tool to book out products and have the ability to talk to the various operators and assist with their priorities.
The position is paid and suitable for individuals seeking temporary employment with potential for future opportunities.
Duties
- Assist in the delivery of production schedules and work on the shop floor with the operators to get product finished and dispatched.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to production delivery.
- Liaise with the shop floor Weld, Press and machine operators as well as the main Operations Office.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operational activities.
- Assist in resolving any production issues promptly to minimise downtime.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
