General Manager – The Saltwater Brig
Full-Time | Guaranteed Mondays & Tuesdays Off | Most Weeks 4 Days
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to take the helm at The Saltwater Brig.
This is a key role for someone who loves hospitality, knows how to run a busy floor, and can lead a team while keeping the operation organised, efficient and welcoming.
And importantly, we want the job to offer a proper work-life balance.
You’ll be guaranteed every Monday and Tuesday off, and most weeks will be worked over four days.
The Role
As General Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of The Saltwater Brig, with a strong presence on the floor and oversight of both Front of House and Bar operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the floor and ensuring every service runs smoothly
- Managing, motivating and developing the FOH and bar teams
- Preparing staff rotas and managing staffing levels
- Ordering and stock management for the bar and Front of House
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer service
- Keeping a close eye on stock, wastage and operating costs
- Helping create an organised, positive and professional working environment
- Handling the everyday challenges that come with running a busy hospitality venue
- Working closely with ownership to continually improve the business
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is confident, organised and genuinely enjoys being on the floor.
You’ll ideally have management experience within a restaurant, bar or similar hospitality business and be comfortable taking responsibility for both people and operations.
You should be the kind of manager who can lead a busy service without losing sight of the customer experience — someone the team respects and customers enjoy dealing with.
A Hospitality Job With Proper Time Off
We know senior hospitality roles can often mean sacrificing your weekends, evenings and personal life.
We want to do things differently.
Every Monday and Tuesday are guaranteed days off, giving you two consecutive days you can actually plan around. Most working weeks will also be four days, while still giving you a senior role with real responsibility and the opportunity to help shape the business.
If you’re an experienced hospitality manager looking for your next challenge — but also want a role that gives you a life outside work — we’d love to hear from you.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Company pension
- Discounted or free food
