Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our well established team part-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative dental care, assisting in patient education, and supporting the overall oral health of our patients. We are fully computerised. Our Hygienists also offer Airflow.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient assessments by reviewing medical histories
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment procedures thoroughly
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure seamless patient care experiences
- Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain sterilization standards for all dental instruments and equipment
Qualifications
- Full GDC Registration
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Certified Hepatitis B immunity status
- Current DBS
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients
- Ability to work independently while also thriving within a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of dental software
