About us
KONCEPT® Medical Clinic is a CQC-registered, doctor-led private clinic in central Kingston upon Thames, serving patients across Surrey and South West London. Led by GMC-registered Medical Director Dr Maryam Attarzadeh, we deliver Private GP, Occupational Health, Dermatology, Aesthetic, Laser and Vascular Surgery services to the highest standards of clinical governance, safety and patient care.
We are now expanding our Occupational Health Services and are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our friendly, professional team.
The role
As our Occupational Health Nurse you will support employees and employers with pre-employment medicals, fitness-for-work assessments and workplace health surveillance, delivering safe, thorough and compassionate care in a modern clinic setting.
Hours: 2 days per week (flexible days, to be agreed)
Rate: From £20 per hour, with a higher rate for the right candidate (depending on experience and skills)
Location: On-site, 46-48 Wood Street, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1UW
Reports to: Medical Director / Clinical Lead
Key responsibilities
- Carry out occupational health assessments, including pre-employment and fitness-for-work medicals and health surveillance.
- Perform and interpret clinical tests as part of health surveillance programmes:
◦ Phlebotomy: venous blood sampling
◦ Audiometry: hearing assessments
◦ Spirometry: lung function testing
◦ ECG: resting electrocardiograms
- Produce clear, accurate reports and management advice while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide health promotion, immunisation and general health advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC standards, GDPR and clinic policy.
- Work within CQC requirements and the clinic’s clinical governance framework.
About you
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in occupational health nursing.
- Competent and certified in phlebotomy, audiometry, spirometry and ECG.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centred manner.
- Able to work independently and manage your own clinic list.
Desirable
- Occupational Health qualification (e.g. diploma/degree or SCPHN-OH).
- Experience producing fitness-for-work reports and liaising with employers.
- Familiarity with private clinic or health surveillance settings.
