Job Summary
We are looking for a part time or full time skilled and reliable Barber to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate should be confident in a wide range of men's hairstyles, including classic cuts, skin fade, scissor cuts and modern styles. You should have good attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and be able to communicate well with clients to understand their needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert advice on styles, cuts, and grooming options
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout the service process, ensuring satisfaction and comfort
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver innovative services
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Build strong relationships with clients through friendly interaction and personalized care
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling or barbering, with a portfolio of diverse styles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with clients from various backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear consultations and instructions
- Knowledge of hair care products, tools, and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a salon or barbershop setting is highly desirable
