Ali's Academy is currently recruiting an enthusiastic Weekend Tutor to support students at our Watford learning centre.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, mentoring young learners, and making a positive impact within the classroom. University students, graduates, and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply.
About the Position
Working as part of our academic team, you will guide students through carefully planned lessons, helping them strengthen their understanding, develop confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
Teaching materials and lesson plans are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering high quality support.
Main Responsibilities
- Teach and support students during weekend tuition sessions
- Assist learners preparing for 11 Plus, SATs, GCSE, and A Level
- Provide clear explanations and individual academic guidance
- Create an engaging and encouraging learning environment
- Maintain attendance records and follow centre procedures
Essential Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have strong academic knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
- Be confident and professional communicators
- Be punctual, organised, and dependable
- Enjoy working with children and young people
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but is not essential.
