Administrator and Receptionist required to join our growing and ambitious Enfield Community Gynaecology team based in the newly built White Lodge Medical Practice in the heart of Enfield Town.
We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team and help us grow the service's image as friendly and professional.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Offer general assistance to the service team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Community Gynaecology Service, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the service team
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care, and other associated healthcare agencies.
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential
Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by the service administration team members may include any or all of the items in the following list. In addition, duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the senior team manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels:
- EMIS Clinical System – full training will be provided,
- Work within MS Windows and MS Office 365 environments
- Processing patient inquiries and responding to questions
- Processing telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations.
- Processing and distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail (including scanning)
- Taking messages and passing on information accurately
- Chaperone clinical appointments

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
